Frequently Asked Questions

Please reach out to us at info@EvergreenSolarClean.com or call/text 760-822-5825 if you cannot find an answer to your question.

Residential pricing starts as low as $121 for a small system on a single story home. Prices vary depending on quantity of panels, number of stories, roof composition, accessibility, and number of array locations. If you can provide us with these details, we can give you a more precise quote over phone, text, or email. Please call for commercial or utility pricing.

This is heavily dependent upon your area and how often you have your solar panels cleaned. On average, our clients see a 15%-20% increase but we have seen increases as high as 30%.

There are many factors that go into the frequency of cleaning. Most clients request one to two cleanings per year after seeing the increase in solar production. How often will depend on:

  • How much dirt/dust is in the area? Are you near any major agricultural fields, highways or manufacturing facilities that could cause you to see higher than average dirt, soot and deposits?
  • How much rain do you get a year? Areas with more rain are going to help keep the accumulation of particulate matter down. As we mentioned earlier, the rain can help with the top layer of dust but it will always leave much more behind than it washes away.
  • Tilt of your solar panels. Panels with a greater tilt tend to do better at keeping dust and grime at bay through the rainy season. If the panels are closer to horizontal, the rain will not provide as much benefit to you.
  • Utility rates. higher rates may warrant an additional cleaning.

This is a common misconception. Have you ever looked at your car windshield after a heavy rain? While the rain can help remove some of the loose surface dust/particles, it cannot clean the built-up grime on the modules, the pollen, bird droppings or other material that has settled. We have cleaned modules the week following a heavy rain and seen an immediate 15% increase in production.

Attempting to clean panels on your own can not only be dangerous but it can also do more harm to your solar panels. When we perform our solar panel cleaning service, we use filtered, deionized water to remove 99% off all minerals and non-minerals through an ion exchange, leaving your panels spotless, squeaky clean and ready to soak up the sun.
